Cockapoo Training

Cockapoos are big-hearted and brainy hybrid breed of dogs. There's nothing to worry about this dog except their high-strung temper that leads to snappiness and aggression in them. Here, I am going to discuss about the solution to this fear-based dog aggression.

Before heading for the solutions of this problem, first you must know what actually this aggression behavior is. Snappiness and lunging in a dog are both clear symptoms of aggression. Also, when a dog shows an initial timidity while meeting new dogs, it is a sign of aggression too as you can clearly see your dog making series of barks along with teeth barking.

The best solution to solving out aggression behavior in the process of Cockapoo training is socialization. The best time to socialize your dog is at an early age. As you also know that prevention is better than cure, you should prevent aggression in cockapoo by socializing them from the first few weeks of their arrival in your home. But if they have started being aggressive, then it somewhat becomes more difficult to solve out this problem.

For socialization, most of dog owners follow the rule of seven which basically demands that your dog should be introduced to seven new people, seven new places, seven different venues, seven different sights, seven different sounds, etc.

Another effective way of solving out this problem is by involving your puppy in classes. When they are introduced to classes, they get opportunities to interact with each other and slowly they let go fearful behavior or timidity by watching and learning manners from each others.

Similarly, it is also important that the dog owners always stay with their Cockapoo so that they may not get fear and nervous. Cockapoo training becomes easy only when the dog owners are actively involved in it by giving sufficient time to their dog. As the probable reason for Cockapoo's fear and aggression is their loneliness, you can solve out this problem by staying with them for as long time as possible.
