In an era of Social Media Networking, nobody will I think disagree with me if I will say that everybody knows what Facebook is. In the history of the advent of Social Media Networking, Facebook is I think the fastest growing social network ever made.
To date, there are more or less 250 Million Facebook users around the globe. This is a very strong proof that this is already a phenomenon. And some are actually addicted to it. Facebook is already a part of their system that they can't live a day without logging in and check their account.
But what exactly are the features of Facebook why a lot of people are going gaga over it? Here are the top three reasons I could ever think based on my own experience and based on the opinion from other people.
Connection
Because Facebook has a lot of users, it is more likely that your old friends, your classmates way back high school and college and your long lost relatives are also into it. I have read several stories about family separated by fate and reunited by Facebook. This is also a good way to connect with your secret crush and know their activities, in short a good tool for stalking.
Outlet
In Facebook, there is no restriction. You can write and post anything and everything you want in your wall. So if you are angry, or happy or you want to share something, you can share it to all your friends by just posting it in your wall. Sometimes, we are looking for people to talk to if we want to burst out our emotion, but in the absence of friends or people around, you can always burst it out in your Facebook wall.
