Infidelity in a marriage can have emotional and physical effects in a relationship. The area that is not discussed enough is what caused the infidelity. We all know what the actual acts are, but why did that partner do it. There are many men and women that are inclined to cheat and will simply never change. But there are a percentage of us that made a misguided mistake. So how do you deal with infidelity? Take it from me, I got married in my early 20s and things were great. Then about 2 years ago my partner and I just started drifting from each other with discreet relationships. He started working late nights, and I just started hanging out with friends more. Then the weekends turned into us doing things separately. It turned out that we were both not satisfying each other and we both cheated. When this all came out, you can imagine the emotional backlash that occurred. But in that fighting, something interesting came out. Something in which strengthened our marriage. Communication. Communication is the #1 reason for the cause of infidelity. Communication is the answer on how to deal with infidelity. Before it gets to the point where a partner is straying, have a deep conversation with him. After all, no one know your partner better than you do. Try not to sweep issues under the rug and address them. For many men this is hard, but with the proper guidance from your partner, this level of communication will continue to strengthen your bond.
