subject: Hand Our Starving Los Angeles Children A Bit Of Much-needed Hope... Donate Your Car Today! [print this page]

Oh, the magical things your automobile donation can do. Right now, as you read this report, there just so happen to be tons of diseased, frail, desolate, anguished, and scared youngsters who live on our tricky streets. These poor kids are out in the elements, stripped of all privacy, unclean, humbled, and very world-weary. They're quite possibly even suicidal.

A good portion of them eat out of public refuse, while an even higher number of them have gotten addicted to street drugs including ice, heroin, and crack cocaine.

I would like you to make a note that it's actually not my aim to stimulate guilt like a number of those nightly t.v. charity ads (not implying that their charities are not noble), rather it's basically to help you in comprehending what's really happening out there in the trenches, and to motivate you by letting you know about a truly extraordinary program that you may or may not have ever heard of.

Wisdom truly is a powerful thing, and I am actually just trying to provide you with just a little understanding which may just empower us to take action for the sake of those suffering local kids. And there just so happen to be some really great rewards for yourself, as well! And this isn't just limited to the the feeling of inner joy that perpetually comes along every time you give from the heart, but also a monetary thank-you gift. We will get into this soon enough.

Before that, however, we are going to take a little personal ownership of the misery that these unfortunate children are faced with on a daily basis.. If you're willing, please participate in this exercise...

Vividly imagine seeing your own son or daughter right in front of you. See them wearing absolutely filthy clothing, on the streets, and tossed aside by society. Imagine your baby out there flying a sign for people's spare change, or worse still, trading themselves for money, food, or drugs. Maybe the kid's hooked on illicit substances, infected with the AIDS virus, and without any medical care to ease their pain and slow the dying process. What emotions are showing up on your baby's face? Sorrow? Bewilderment? Terror? Isn't this an absolutely horrific, gut-wrenching thought?

When I imagine my own child in this position, it feels like I'm being clubbed in the chest. It truly does. And I'm certain you can relate when I tell you that I'd do literally anything I was capable of doing to take my kid out of that nightmare instantly! I couldn't and wouldn't allow that to persist for another minute.

But for the boys and girls on our cold and dirty streets, this is seldom an option, as they don't have any loving family to save them. In fact, they don't have anybody whatsoever. Their parents are possibly deceased... or in prison... or hopelessly strung out. What's worse, a handful of these boys and girls were actually tossed into these situations by their moms and dads, who prostituted them out for drugs. Please understand, this is NOT all that rare. Most of these kids are good kids who just never really had a chance.

So what can we actually do to help?

This just so happens to be a great question. In truth, the answer is absolutely easy to grasp. Are you ready? Offer your unwanted automobile to your local vehicle donation charity as quickly as you can. Because of your generosity, the charity group will be empowered to make an amazing difference in these girls' and boys' lives.

So what's in it for me?

It honestly amuzes me the volume of men and women that feel that they should feel ashamed if they want to be repaid for their contribution. Believe me when I tell you that there is genuinely not a thing misguided about expecting anything for you. I mean, we are talking about a car here. You should be rewarded!

That is why you will receive economic compensation, not necessarily as money from the charity, but rather, as a significant tax credit from the U.S. government. This credit is, in many cases, worth even more than the vehicle itself! It just goes to show that giving your junk car to a charity like this is excellent for each and every one of us.
