A SUNDAY!

Huge differences and blood all over the city.

Written By: Emaad MuzaffarSrinagar 20th June 2010,: Mohammed Rafiq Bangroo who was injured in the clashes between police and protestors last week died on Saturday night. Protests and clashes begin while Rafiq s funeral procession was going ahead. Some people tried to put a crpf camp on fire which resulted in firing from crpf personnel's in which one more person namely Javaid Ahmed died.Javed was taken to hospital but he died on way. While as the Jammu and Kashmir police somehow made people disspersed peacefully. The killings of youths have been increased from last few days.Javaid was the third person killed by Crpf from last 10 days.Meanwhile The Chief minister Omar Abdullah chaired a high level meeting with Minister of Law and parliamentary affairs Ali Mohammad Sagar, Minister of state Taj Mohideen, Nasir Aslam Wani, Director General Police Kuldeep Khuda and several other top police officials in which the top honest cop of Jammu and Kashmir police Sr.Supriendent of Police {SSP SRINAGAR} Riyaz Bedar was transffered and posted as SSP Traffic Kashmir and Ashiq Hussain Bukhari ssp counter intelligence was brought as SSP Srinagar. Riyaz Bedar is well known honest police official in Srinagar city. What I think is that if Crpf opened fire on the civilians the government should take up action against the crpf officials as they have been already said many times by high official authorities not to do an act which can cause to the people.Instead; Government removed a police official from Jammu and Kashmir Police. The results of the inquiry of the killings from last 10 days by Crpf are still not announced. Whereas Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday has directed the divisional commissioner Tanveer Jahan to conduct an investigation and submit the report within a week.Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has also expressed his sorrow over the killings of the innocent boys. "Death of any innocent is always a matter of concern and pain for any responsible government. We are conscious of it and will take all appropriate steps to ensure that no human rights violation occurs," the Chief Minister told a group of legislators from Srinagar city, who had called on him to discuss the present law and order situation in the old city. The Government needs to investigate all killings positively and make some rules and regulations for central reserve police forces so that the killings of innocent lives stops and the opposition party Pdp must also support Government in investigating the killings so that suitable results must come out.http://www.articlesbase.com/politics-articles/a-sunday-huge-differences-and-blood-all-over-city-2692873.html
