How it works
The selphyl solutionis prepared by drawing a patient's blood, separating the platelets from the red blood cells. The separated platelets are then mixed with a fibrin mixture and injected to the are the patient wants to augment. Surgeons overfill the area by 20 percent so a patient can see an approximation of the final results. The excess will be gone in about a day.
