They have 3 modern Boeing fleets operating from Harare to London and Kuala Lumpur. They have special Student fares valid for one year, Senior Citizen Discounts for Passengers over 65, Special Escort services for unaccompanied minors & very generous checked luggage of 40KGs.
In past Air Zimbabwe often had to cancel their flights due to lack of spare parts and fuel. This has impacted their International star ranking & their credibility as well. In September Air Zimbabwe has beard millions of loss due to its pilots strike. Now Air Zimbabwe is striving best to serve local & International passengers. They have ordered new Air bus planes to improve their service. They have improved their onboard flight services including entertainment & kitchen facilities. Though they are still using old styled over head projectors for onboard movies. News & travel magazines are also available. Onboard music is of not good quality but one can find it interesting especially African Hip Hop music.
