Make Your Own Websites - A Basic Outline
If you are starting an online business, you know how essential it is to have your own website. The process is something like this:
Buy a domain. Now we can use free websites but as you probably know, paid websites are much better. To buy your domain I would suggest www.godaddy.com
Get Hosting. For the sake of ease, I would suggest that you buy your hosting from the same company that you bought your domain from. This will save you time and effort.
Downloading The Software. Now we are going to download the software to actually start creating our website. I use komPozer, but there is plenty of great software out there. Most of which is free.
Creating The Website. We need to familiarize ourselves with the software. Start playing around with the software(you can't break it) and try to create anything just for practice.
Publishing The Website. Lastly, for publishing, you will probably want to download a software titled FireZilla. This will allow you to upload the web page you've created on komPozer to your actual site. You will need the info from your hosting company to do this so save the e-mail.
Traffic! I will not be going over traffic in this article but it is VITAL. Without traffic, you might as well not have a website.
