Obd-II code scanner
The only problem I had with it was a key that refused to register properly. Took it apart, cleaned the contacts with alcohol and now all keys work as expected. The "live view" parameters feature is very useful. It even helps in diagnosing defective thermostats.
Do not buy if you have a MAC (Apple) for Actron software updates.
I would give it 5 stars for the what you get for the money. No doubt it is one of the best scanners on the market
and it has done pretty much what I need it to do with my 2002 VW Passat. But it gets 2 stars taken away for non
support of Apple computers for updating the software on it. My household like many others here in the US are
running MAC computers and Actron needs to get with it.

My husband had me order this item from Amazon due to the price.
He knew the product was a great device and Amazons price was very
reasonable.
I did have one issue with Amazon. Not enough information. The
desciption was not very informative. I ordered it not knowing if
it came in a case or came with the wires. I was very glad that
they did, but almost did not buy it since I was unsure.
Best Choice
I have had 3 different hand-held diagnostic scanners, and I own a roadside assistance business. I use them a lot. This is the best one I have ever had. NOTE: I would recommend that no matter which one of these things you get, always get one with a back-lighted display. Otherwise, they are often very hard to see.
