subject: The x4Labs Guarantee [print this page] The x4Labs Guarantee The x4Labs Guarantee
Unfortunately the x4labs guarantee is not as rosy as the hype would suggest. I was one of the unfortunate customers that faced the wrath of the company when the device failed to work. You can imagine the embarrassment when it became clear that my money had been wasted. At least I had some comfort from the guarantee or did I? The least I would have expected from the company is common courtesy and honesty. This is something that they need to work on if they are going to be successful in the industry.
My battle for a refund as part of the x4labs guarantee
When I decided that enough was enough, I requested my money back. I thought this would be a formality given the fact that I sent the item back to them. That was just the beginning of my troubles. It appears that their returns policy is only on paper. You need to be a diplomatic consultant to understand the convolutions that are needed before you can send this item back.
A refund is a dream and customers are advised to lower their expectations considerably. Once the money goes through the till, it seems that you are not likely to see it ever again. To say that I was disappointment is the understatement of the decade. They were not willing to give me my money when it was clear that their product was defective. How unfair is that? I hope the managers in that company can tell their teams to improve on service for consumers.
Is the x4labs tool made in the USA?
I hate it when items have a "made in USA" label but then end up being outsourced. I happen to be patriotic and believe that USA products are wonderful. Given the economy at the moment, we all have a responsibility to support our country. You can imagine my fury when I realised that in fact the item had to be sent back to China. I had been deceived!
This was not a product from the good old USA but one that was made in China. I have no problem with Chinese products but I hate being lied to. Why can't they just make accurate labels? Had I been in the USA, I might have complained to the trading standards association. I am not entirely sure that there is an equivalent in China. I would very much like to write to them and give them a piece of my mind.
Hope for the x4labs guarantee
I think the product has potential but they are doing the marketing all wrong. It is not good to mislead clients about the origin of the product. The guarantee should be very explicit about the rights that the consumer enjoys. The last thing that people need is to be given the "run around". Although I was disappointed on this occasion, I still need the x4labs product. I am hoping that they can get their act together and give me the kind of service that I need.
