PRESS ON ALWAYS
Some call it persistent, others call it perseverance; by whatever it's to you but it's one success principle that needs to be talked about on an hour basis. This is important such that many who have stopped along the road to seeing their dreams come true will pick up from where they stopped. In fact, every time someone shouts the world unstoppable on the street, I will always look back. Because that's my name and I was talk by one of my boss Uju.
The story (did I hear you say he goes again with his stories. Why not if that helps some people to believe that it's actually possible to achieve their dreams) in July of 1952, a woman by name Florence Chadwick waded into the waters of Catalina island, intending to swim the channel to the California coast. An experienced long-distance swimmer, she had been the first woman to swim the English channel in both directions.
The water was numbingly cold that day and the fog was so thick she could hardly see the boats that accompanied her, in part, to keep sharks at bay. Several times she heard riles being fired at the sharks she sensed in the inky waters with her.
She swam for more than fifteen hours before asking to be lifted from the water. Her trainer encouraged her to swim on, telling her they were closed to land. When she looked ahead, however, all she could see was fog. She quit only a half mile to her goal, she called it quits. Exactly what happens to so many of us. We give up when we are so close to achieve our goal.
When Florence was asked why she gave up so close to land, she said: "I'm not excusing myself, but if I would have seen the land, I might have made it." One thing is clear and need to be pointed out. It wasn't the cold, fear, or exhaustion that caused her to fail in her attempt to swim the Catalina channel. It was the fog.
Dear reader, even if your goal isn't clearly sight, press on. Even when all hope is lost, take one more step. Even when every available fact indicates that your dreams is impossible to achieve, press on. Cases abound where expert insist that some new invention are not possible, yet the world and humanity as been blessed by the die hard spirit of men and women who pressed on.
Some have been told they would amount to anything, just press on. Nobody is qualified to pass a judgment of whether you can succeed or not. Others have come to conclude on their own that the state of the economy will make it difficult for them to attain financial freedom, just press on. When you are equipped with the principle of wealth creation, nothing will stop you from achieving your dream.
For instance, you have to make money from your primary source of income before investing on real estate or in the stock market. How do you make money from what you are currently doing? Do you know you can earn eight different incomes from whatever you are doing currently? I call it earning eight multiple streams of income from enjoying yourself. Talk to me and I will tell you how.
