So we are sitting here with our fantastic housecleaner Elia of Elia's House Cleaning here in the Studio City California area and we wanted to ask her some questions. How many maids, housekeepers or housecleaners does it take or should it take to clean my house?
The short answer to this is that it really doesn't matter. Elia works throughout the Los Angeles area and can send a group or just one person to clean your house. The choice is really up to you.
Now me for example, I like the maids to get in and out so I usually have Elia send 3-4 housekeepers over to my house. Everyone's taste will vary. Some prefer that there is a group of people and some only want one maid to be in the house at one time.
I guess it doesn't matter and you can just do whatever you want.
Another advantage is that if you are getting laundry service in addition to housekeeping services, it will be a lot easier and faster to have one person who is doing nothing but laundry the entire time while the others can focus on the typical maid services.
I suppose this can come down to a trust and comfort issue. While on one hand, I can see wanting to have a cleaning crew come in, get the job done so the could leave faster. At the same time, it's easy to see why some people would only one one maid in their house at one time in order to minimize the traffic through their home.
