Confidence is something that is often discussed in our society and a lot of emphasis is put on being confident at all times. Even though so many mentors and tutors recommend us to be confident in order to become happier and get better results in life, it is very rare that people actually explain how you can become more confident and show everyone that you are on top of the world.

Confidence can actually be split up into two distinct things, the external part and the internal part. Internal confidence is the filter in which you perceive the outside world and how all your beliefs actually shape the overall picture of the world. An example of this could be if someone is very good looking and have a belief that good looking people are more confident, they will naturally start acting more confidently.

The external part of confidence is when you get your confidence based on validation from the outside world. If we use the same example as before this would mean that this person needs to have their beauty validated by the outside world in order to feel confident.

Obviously what you want to work on the most is your internal confidence and this is tightly connected to your identity and the way in which you perceive yourself. However, it can be very hard to start working on this area and a lot of times it will take a lot of time before any significant results are achieved. Therefore the fastest way in which you can start to increase your self belief is to start working on external things that will change your perception of yourself.

One of the best things you can do for yourself is to join a gym and start changing the way you look. First of all it is really healthy for your body, but it will also give you a boost when you start seeing results and you can actually see that your looks are improving. You can also get a make over and go for the look you have always wanted to go for but just haven't because you thought it wasn't suited for you. Who is to tell you what is suited for you other than yourself?

Start following these two tips and stick with them and you will immediately feel a nice boost in your beliefs and start being a lot more positive.
