If you ever feel like you're not very popular, just make a phone call on your cell phone. Now the strange phenomenon will occur. Your phone has not rung for a week, but the minute you are on it you'll hear the distracting, beep, beep, beep on the line of another call trying to get through. "No problem", you think. I will just see who called when I am finished with this phone call. So you chat for another few minutes, and say good-bye.

Now you check your MISSED CALLS list in your cell phone, and there is a phone number. Great! No name, there is just a number. Maybe they left a message. Hmm, no such luck! You do not really want to call them back without knowing whose number it is. What do you do now?

Well now, you are in luck. You can do a reverse phone number lookup. It sounds complicated, but it is not. There are a number of web-sites that offer reverse lookup services. Some of them charge a small fee, and some of them offer public information for free. Even the free sites generally charge a nominal fee for private or unlisted information.

To use one of these sites simply enter the phone number in the reverse lookup field and click on search. The city and name of the service provider will be displayed. If the number is public, the registrant's information will be displayed. If the number is private, you will generally be asked to pay a small fee to gain access to the cell phone owner's information.

Now all that is left for you to decide is to you really want to talk to them at all?!About the Author:
