Some staff are more willing to teach the child good behavior while some staff just doesn't care. The second most important thing to look for is safety of the child and the environment they are in. The mother should question here, is the day care free of possible danger? such as sharp edges of a table, or large objects hoovering over the child such as a toy bin. The place of the day care center should be clean, dirt and odor free. The place of the day care center should be suited for a child to be in. There should be drawing and colorful decoration of the day care center.

When visiting a day care center, the mother should ask the day care center staff, are they licensed to open a day care center? do they have a good history of the day care center? are there enough staff to watch every child being cared? What safety guidlines do they follow and how will they react in case of an emergency? who is in charge of the day care center? how many childrens are there? Do any children have diseases that are contagious?

There are many day care programs offered by Government to help mothers, especially single mothers. There are programs that help find programs to help pay for child care or offer a low fee. Many of these child care programs can be found online or a local directory, you just need to know where to look. The kinds of help offered byt the Government is State child care subsidies. These are subsidies offered to parents that are helped by the States to help curb the cost of a child care. Many of these programs are offered to low income families and mothers attending school. There are so many programs and scholarship for child care. One of the best program is Head Start which is a federal funded program to offer free education to children who are low income.
