While there are many factors that contribute to your success of failure with a network marketing business, one of the most important factors is the quality of people you surround yourself with. Building a strong team within your business will have a significant and lasting effect on your ability to generate a stable, long term income for yourself.
Many people have built large successful network marketing businesses completely on their own. This is rare however, and in most cases the top income earners had a team to work with that contributed to their MLM success. MLM success does not come through getting lucky or some secret methods. MLM Success is earned through hard work and smart decision making. And one of your most critical decisions will be determining who you work with. The most challenging your goals are, the most important it is for you to select a good team to work with and ambitious goals are nearly impossible to achieve on your own.
While it's obvious that a good mentor will really benefit you and your business, it's actually more important that you find some quality peers to work with. You need to find one or two (or more) partners who would be considered your peers. If the relationship is too one-sided then you will not achieve the right dynamic and you will not benefit in the same way. A peer is absolutely essential for exchanging ideas, sharing the workload and providing support to each other. You will have greater MLM success together than either of you would have had on your own.
While you are recruiting prospects and participating in forums and MLM training sessions, you should always be on the lookout for people whose goals and attitudes are consistent with your own. It's not even necessary that you both join the same network marketing company to be able to work together. Many of the things that will contribute to your MLM success are completely independent of the network marketing company that you represent. By participating in generic MLM Training and interacting with people in other companies, you are able to access a much larger community that will greater increase the quantity and quality of discussion and exchange of knowledge.
Another reason for building a strong team is that prospects are generally more excited about joining at team rather than just following a leader. They believe that if the group has MLM success then they will have MLM success. They will also feel that as part of a team, they can make contributions earlier than if they were working independently. That sense of community and belonging is a very powerful social force and you can harness that power to build your business. Having a diverse team will also allow you to divide the work amongst the team members and allow each person to focus more on the areas where they are stronger. This will allow the group to have a lot more success together then as individuals. Specialization and division of labor are two of the most critical concepts that allowed our society to develop to where we are today.
It has been proven over and over again. Teamwork = MLM Success.
