Recently Volkswagen has announced a new more powerful BlueMotion model of the Scirocco, it is based on the 2.0-litre 140 PS engine and comes with Stop/Start and battery regeneration systems to help create the cleanest and most fuel efficient Scirocco in the line up. It comes with either the manual or automatic 6 speed gearbox.
The fuel economy for the 2.0 BlueMotion model is significantly improved from 55.4 mpg to 62.8 mpg on the combined cycle, while the emissions are also reduced accordingly, down from 134 g/km to 118 g/km.
