The much anticipated game of the year, "Call of Duty: Black Ops" was released at midnight, November 9, and has been the talk of many fanatics and gamers around the web. The game is available for PC, PS3, Wii and XBox 360. Players world wide are thrilled to find out that the newest release, like previous versions of it, comes with a zombie mode, along with a number of other unlockable secrets.The earlier version of the game, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" has of course remained very popular and still has a very strong following. "Black Ops" serves as an upgrade over the previous game, and features a number of online multi player features that were not present in the previous games.
The updated zombie mode allows you to play as Fidel Castro, Richard Nixon, John F. Kennedy, and Robert McNamara, among others. This mode is truly entertaining, and like previous versions of the mode, you have to hold down positions and pick off the zombies as they slowly surround you, ready to attack.
Most reviewers however, have noticed that the story line is far too short. Some were able to finish the game in as little as six hours. However, there is more than enough action in the campaign to keep the casual fan busy for quite some time. Either way, "Black Ops" is worth the purchase for the upgraded online and zombie modes alone.
