We often receive a variety of sales calling in our daily work. Sometimes we do not need these products and we may tell them politely that we do not need the items and then hang up the phone. However, some of them will call us again and again to promote their items. Will you listen to them talking about products when you are very tired? Can you understand them or will you be angry with them? How to refuse their calling and imply them never call has become an art that you should learn.

In fact, we are all workers in different forms. We are sure that we do not want to be treated badly, so do those salesmen. We are supposed not to say harsh words to the salesman when we try to refuse their calling. Here are some skills for you to refuse them.

Refuse by making up excuses

Sometimes, when we answer the phone call, we will find that it is from the salesman. However, we are very busy and we do not have so much time to listen their explanation, we can lie to them or make up some stories for that.

For example, when you come up with a person promoting their meals for companies, you could say "thank you for your introduction, we are so glad to know your company. We believe that you will make a good meal for our staffs and save cost for our company. However, we have got our own cook in our canteen to ensure our staffs have enough time for the meal. What's more, our boss has made emphasized the cook many times make healthy and nutritional meal for our staffs. We are satisfied with this decision. Thus, we are sorry that we will not choose others' meal in years. We do hope you can understand."

We believe that the salesman have got your idea that you do not want to be bothered though you lie to them. What's more, this kind of talking style will not embarrass them. A good way, is it?

Refuse by telling the truth

When we find the calling is promoting something, we could also tell them the truth by telling them the truth. What's more, it is advised to tell them the reason to avoid their forward question. There are always various sale-callings for gifts, food, clothes when some festivals are approaching.

For example, I received a call from a sales man who wanted to promote his Christmas gift last yeas. After his one minute talking, I told him that I had already got the Christmas gift and it was a necklace which I bought from an online store. The item would reach me the next day. I hoped that he could call me next Christmas day. Then the sales men just said sorry and hang up the phone. And it was true that the salesman did not call until now. In fact, I have told everything about my gift, which was convincing. You could also have a try.

Refuse by taking in others shoes.

When you receive a salesman's call, you find that you really need not those items. It is strongly advised that you should take in others shoes even if you want to kill time. You could tell them that you really do not need that and you'd better suggest them stop. For example, you could say "we are glad to your calling; however, we do not need them now no matter how long you will say. In order to save your time, please go on your next phone. Maybe you will find your really customer. You need not waste time on me. " We believe the salesman will understand your caring about him.

Refusing is an art in life. There are more methods that we should try to find. You will have a good time by refusing something you do not like. Please remember to use polite words whenever refuse anything.
