Everybody is subjected to the natural process of aging. In spite of this, having the knowledge of what causes the unwanted effects of aging and knowing what products are available can actually help a person give the illusion of being able to control the aging process by slowing it down. These days, through better sciences and technologies, immortality is nearly within a person's grasp. But a person needs to understand how to live a longer life they must first understand the process of aging. People need to understand the numerous factors that cause the aging process and to deal with these factors accordingly. Stress is one of the most obvious reasons for aging. Basically, stress is caused by the punishments and constant beatings that a person's body takes from the tasks they do each day to a hormone disturbance that can ultimately result in to cell damage. In addition, there is gland in a person's head that is known as the hypothalamus. The degeneration of this gland is also one of the causes of aging. In time, this gland becomes tired and becomes inaccurate when releasing the correct amounts of hormone to other glands a person's body. This results in hormone levels that are imbalanced that result in tissue damage. There are also external factors such as the environment that contribute to the process of aging. When combined with stress and poor nutrition, environmental concerns like contaminants, radiation, and pollution can cause significant damage to a person's cells. A person's cells have a considerable role in the aging process since they have valuable information for a person's development. When a cell divides itself or reproduces, it ensures that its clone is of the same as the cell that it came from. If the cell that it came from is damaged in any way, its spawned new cells will have information sets that are somewhat deformed. This trend of degenerated cells results in the aging process. Among American health buffs, the free radical theory of aging is the most popular. This theory says that free radical, which are extremely reactive chemicals, cause damage to the tissues of a person's body. However, usually, free radicals also serve many good purposes for the development of a person's body and aren't all bad. However, free radicals reproduce theirselves in amounts that are excessive which does damage a person's body. In light of these theories that try to define the aging process, there are some medical answers that are designed to fight the aging process. These include a person taking vitamin E and vitamin C supplements to balance the damage caused by free radicals and to fight stress. The other effective way to fight aging is to substitute healthy food selections like vegetables and fruits in place of junk foods.
