To build a large network marketing organization, only those who have built the strongest relationships, are the ones who will succeed.
So I want to cover two aspects of relationship marketing today.
1. In the age of the new web, why is this so crucial?
2. New distributors start building their business by contacting the people they know, but why are they told by their upline to do so?
The companies press their new sign ups, not to first learn how to market, but to contact their warm market - and this is where I would like to start, by explaining the reasons for this. Its simply psychology of the human mind. Trust - the people you have known for many years and have built up some kind of relationship with rely on your word as being truthful.
And in network marketing, this is monumental.
This means that whatever you say or invite them to, those people who do trust your word are willing to sit and listen to you. There is no barrier to break down. No matter if what you say is right or wrong about changing their lives, people are compelled to listen to someone they rely on to be completely open about something. Our minds are 'drawn in' by numbers, figures and statistics of how good something (in this case, the network marketing business) is and how that is going to help us.
And remember, new people join you in business for two reasons only.
1.Trust is the main REASON.
2. You have a way of helping them get effective results in their business and that is - A Marketing System. Social media marketing and the world wide web.
Effective Relationship marketing simply is key to your success and is the reason why the network marketing industry has side-stepped into social and media marketing platforms. It's another way of building on your warm market database, and increasing the amount of people who trust you. It is to extend our WARM MARKET to the far reaches of the world, via technology and the internet.
Building a relationship with new prospects over many months (or perhaps days and weeks) on Facebook, Twitter or Myspace ultimately leads to easier sponsoring and recruiting of new people.
Gone are the days of being frustrated trying to build a business from your 'old' warm market, you have a brand new hot market to work with! This allows you to freely build a huge organization of people who place their trust in you.
