Desert Greenscapes encourages Las Vegas' home owners to re set their sprinkler clocks to the SNWA winter watering schedule:
From the SNWA:
WATER DAYS:
Group A: MONDAY.
Group B: TUESDAY.
Group C: WEDNESDAY.
Group D: THURSDAY.
Group E: FRIDAY.
Group F: Saturday.
Sunday is NOT a water day.
FOR LAWNS:
Run your sprinklers in 3 cycles (start times) of 4 minutes each on your watering day.Check your sprinkler head after each mowing for proper spray adjustment.
FOR DRIP:
Run your drip valves on your water day for a single run time. Run times can vary between 18 and 90 minutes, depending on drippier/emitter flow rate (GPH), soil types and soil compaction.
Contact the SNWA or The Nevada Master Gardeners for advice on properly irrigation your plants and trees.
Remember to clean your drip system filters. These are usually located in your valve boxes.
