subject: Easy Ways On How To Develop Psychic Abilities [print this page]

So you think you may be psychicSo you think you may be psychic. If you think you do, you probably do have some degree of psychic abilities. Do you get clues that you have psychic abilities? Do you sometimes know who is on the phone when it rings? Do you have dreams that come true? These along with other things are indications that your psychic abilities are starting to come out. It is believed that all people have some abilities, some chose to ignore them and others work at developing their psychic abilities. We will discuss several ways you can work on developing your psychic abilities.

The first thing you want to do is admit to yourself that you do have psychic abilities. It does not matter if the abilities are strong or week. Just acknowledging you have ESP abilities is the first step in having them grow stronger. Believing in something is one of the strongest forces that exist in a person. If you truly believe in something, mountains can be moved and worlds changed. It can also be helpful to create an affirmation that reenforces the believe. You can repeat something along the lines " my psychic powers exist and grow stronger each day." You can make up your own or use this one, whatever feels best for you. It is also helpful to learn as much as you can about the subject. Take courses, read books and study the subject. By doing these things you will become more aware and tuned in to your psychic abilities.

The next think you can do is practice developing your abilities. Yes, some people are born with the gift and need no practice. This is just like some people can play the piano by age 10 at a concert level. These people are far and few between, most of us need practice to be good at something. This goes for developing your abilities as well. There are short cuts that you can take and these include hypnosis and binaural beats. These two avenues help because they communicate directly with the subconscious mind.

Some simple ways to begin practicing to develop your abilities are, try to figure out who is on the phone before you answer. Think of a friend and see if they get in touch with you. Try getting your dog or cat to do simple things without saying a word. Concentrate on clouds and see if you can get them to dissipate. These are just a couple things you can do in developing your abilities. The important thing is not to give up if you have some failures. Keep practicing and you will tune into your psychic abilities.

A simple exercise to help develop your psychic abilities is predicting the future. Use a progressive relaxation technique and get yourself in a calm relaxed state of mind. Project yourself into your day tomorrow. Try to see what you are doing and the activities you are participating in. As you do this look for things that cannot be self fulfilling prophecies. What we mean by that is you do not want to predict you went to the coffee shop, you can easily make that happen. Write down things that you will have no way of making happen. Things like you run into a old friend, a dog befriends you and so on. Write these things down so you can verify if they did indeed happen the next day. You can do anywhere between two and ten predictions per day. I sometimes find that the things I have predicted may take more then one day to materialize. Do not get discouraged, keep practicing and your abilities will grow stronger. In developing your psychic abilities, feedback becomes vital. This is why predicting who is on the phone is such a great exercise, you get immediate feedback.

Another way to develop your abilities is to learn meditation. The monks, swami's and gurus of India practice meditation and have some amazing psychic abilities. I have experienced this first hand. I prefer a mantra based meditation, but you can pick one that suits you. The important thing is to stick with it and practice daily.

Have fun working on developing your psychic abilities. This can be a fun and rewarding experience with many side benefits.
