For Those of you who don't know, Multi Level Marketing, also known as MLM, is a Marketing Technique which is Being used by many companies both on the internet and off of it. The plan is to compensate the affiliate for every sale made under their name and for every lead they bring that will register and start promoting the plan and / or for every sale they(the affiliates under you) make for a certain amount of levels.
Stop reading and think for a minute. Do you find that technique profitable? if you do than it's fine but you should really try to see the whole picture which will be explained further below. If you don't, than you should really learn more because you're missing out big time!
Properties of Multi Level Marketing:
1. Multi Level Marketing is not complicated! - It means you do have to do some research in your niche to find your targeted traffic but once you do that the way is clear.
2. You don't sell! - Most MLM companies offer promotional content that you can show the client and it does the selling for you, be it a website you refer them to or even a DVD you offer to give them so that they can learn more.
3. MLM is not a get rich quick scheme - Most of the MLM programs I know offer you to receive some kind of compensation for your leads and sales in a matter of a residual income - which means once you have a lead sign up, as long as he is in the program, you get money for it. This adds up and in the beginning you might be a little frustrated but not for long!
4. Don't Give Up! - I only started to profit from a MLM program I used to promote only after a year of no profit and monthly subscription payments! but I never gave up and it was worth it.
5. Pick what suits you best! - Every MLM program has its own properties and payment plan. I would suggest to go with whatever is able to give you your hard-earned money as fast as possible and not wait for it once a month, but that's my opinion.
6. Do not be afraid to ask questions! - most of the time, a MLM's landing page will provide you with the contact details of your upline sponsor, if you have questions don't hasitate to ask them - it is in their best interest to help you!
7. Don't overdo it! - MLM is designed to start small. If you have the cash and the ability to purchase huge advertisement campaigns, than by all means be my guest. Always remember, though, that sometimes even one person that is doing the job is worth more than 100 people that don't know where to start.
8. Be responsible - Your Downline is your most treasured prize - always let them know that you're there to help them and that it's in your best interest to help them grow and succeed because when they do, you do! if you don't be responsible and help them out, how can you expect to earn money when they don't know what to do?
9. Your family can help too! - let's face it, maybe your grandma who can't write on the computer does not fit for the job, but what about your over 18 cousin? or if you are in your 20's what about your parents? and even friends? sometimes it can be a little strange to have your family members "work for you" but in essence you only help them achieve what you want to achieve for yourself. Wouldn't it be great if your parents had a 500$ extra every month? I'm not talking about millions here, so should you!
10. Be consistent! - only by continuing to promote your program to as many people as possible will you succeed in having a big downline and higher profits!
11. Last Clarification - MLM is not a pyramid scheme. Multi Level Marketing is based upon a product being sold and affiliates driving traffic to it, if you find no product being sold than that's where you should start to suspect.
These are all the tips I can offer you today about Multi Level Marketing. My final note is, try to be yourself and don't be shy about what you do! MLM is a job like all others and only by trusting in yourself and being consistent, you will achieve success and in the process meet new people and friends!
