I also recommend you to slow the burning speed, because the lower the speed the better the quality of burning process.
Be sure the you have enough Disk space

Now, i want to talk about the burning process of your photos to a DVD disk, no matter what your DVD disk type is, you should have a software that burn your DVD photos on a DVD disk. You also can make a slideshow, adding comments, music and make animations to your photos. There are many softwares you can use; (i use photoDVD, it is very simple, and offers a high speed of burning).
In summary here is what I am talking about; Let us assume you have many photos that you want to make them a slideshow and burn them to DVD.
First you add your photos to PhotoDVD (the software that i recommend) then you add your comments to any picture you want, add music if u want, and organize your photos into chapters. Then after all, burn it to your DVD and enjoy watching all your photos/ pictures on your DVD home player or any DVD player you want.
