Red Rock Resources expects full gold production at its Colombia project to proceed as planned by the end of December.
It said the first 170-tonne pre-crushing ore bin has been filled, and the second 600-tonne post-milling ore bin is being filled.
Further processing will follow the switching on of the ball mill.
This is expected to occur and all stages of the plant to become operational by mid-month.
Red Rock also noted today's (1 December) announcement by investee company Ascot Mining about the pouring of 40.1 ounces of gold dore from its newly expanded ball mill.
This was one day after Ascot fully paid for the Chassoul gold concession and obtained clear title to the mine.
Broomfield mining firm ups production
A goldfield in Mexico co-owned by Broomfield-based Pan American Goldfields Ltd. continues to ramp up production, the company announced Monday in a press release.
The Cieneguita project mill in Chihuahua, Mexico, is on target to hit its daily production goal by the end of the year, the company said.
The mill was expanded in October with the addition of flotation ponds and a ball mill. The improvements at the mill are expected to increase the daily production rate of ore through the mill as well as the recovery of gold, silver and other metals from the processing operations under way at the mill.
