Work from home tips

There are a bazillion websites and so-called entrepreneurs out there claiming to make

millions, doing nothing. And they'll sell you their secrets from $5-$1000. Duh! Their secret

is marketing. Feigning (often) expertise to target the desperate and brokeor the lazy.

How to get rich? Stop spending money on them, and invest in yourself! There are a few exceptions, and you will know when they are legit. Google the company or author and add "scam" (without quotations) after your inquiry.

For example, I was a Storesonline.com sucker. I got their free seminar invite in the mail promising an SEO seminar and couldn't resist. The first seminar was the soft sell for their $6000 next Storesonline.com event--scam! The $1000 seminar was a steal at the $40 they ask of you (riiight!).

So, I shelled out the $40. Two weeks later it happened. .They lock you in a room for 8 hours, give you a mediocre meal and try to scare you into buying, or FINANCING their $6000 crap. I got smart during the event and googled storesonline.com scam on my phone. sure enough, hundreds of posts from their now broke prey turned up. I stayed for the 'free' advice, but turned down the one on one meeting to avoid the pressure of signing up for something I couldn't afford.

Phew! Many others were not so lucky. From time to time, I may endorse a worth it buy. But, only if it worked for me. On the other hand, if it wasted my money, I'll be sure to let you know.

The truth is, it takes work and discipline to successfully work from home. I spent a good

six months, sometimes working 14 hour days just figuring out how to make websites to make

money. There are no answers or templates. You can take advice from others, but really its upto you to succeed or fail.

A true entrepreneur is a hobby-a-holic. He or she truly loves their workand often it comes

before family, friends or prior engagements. There is a thin line between entrepreneurial

and insane. The truth is you just have to go for it.
