In Defense of Captain Chris
In Defense of Captain Chris

They say that success breeds success. It also breeds jealousy. Just ask Chris Pizzo and he will tell you the same. He is the man who has released the Close Combat Training system and has sold almost 50,000 copies to date, an amazing number for any self defense program. Yet as usual, you have the keyboard warriors on the internet who would rather mock Captain Chris than applaud his ingenuity and entrepreneurial ability. His detractors try to level the same claims of being a fraud as they do at just about ever other self defense video ever released. The big difference this time is that they are labeling a genuine expert a fraud.

It is hard to know why people make it their business to try and take down someone who is performing such a service. It can only be surmised that such critics are actually street thugs who don't want people to know how to defend themselves properly. If everyone knew how to use the moves shown by Chris Pizzo then criminals would suddenly have a hard time finding a victim for a mugging to give them their next drug fix. If his program was not the genuine article it would not have sold so many copies to date with all signs pointing to more success nor would users declare virtually universal satisfaction with his methods.

Even his moniker, Captain Chris' has been the source of some mirth. This is understandable to some degree as many of the other self defense gurus' always give themselves some catchy title such as Grandmaster' when they are nothing of the sort. Yet if these critics actually decided to do some research, they would find that Chris Pizzo was actually a member of the armed forces in the United States and he was considered to be their number one hand to hand combat instructor. Through years of hard graft and discipline he reached the exalted rank of Captain, therefore he has earned to right to be addressed as such.

While certain self defense techniques seem to be mangled versions of popular martial arts moves or else completely made up, the Close Combat Training system brought to you by Chris Pizzo is an actual mode of fighting that was used by the toughest American soldiers during the Second World War. It somehow became lost in the mists of time but Chris brought it back realizing that it was an amazingly effective way to defend yourself. Real military personnel traveled large distances to learn from Captain Chris. No other self defense system around can legitimately boast that.

Those who try and mock Chris Pizzo can do so all they wish. On this occasion, the public have voted with their credit cards and his DVD's have flown off the shelves. This is because Close Combat Training is extraordinarily effective and nothing that bitter internet critics can say will detract from the success enjoyed by Captain Chris. His system is real, it's legitimate and it will give you the upper hand in any street attack situation.
