In life, we all face this decision that can effect not just us but our family, friends, co-workers and other people that care about our welfare. But think about it, if you make a big decision and can't back out, what are you going to face? You need to stop and pray about what you are contemplating. It may be the wrong decision in the long run, you could hurt so many people in that pathway of that decision you won't know which way to turn. But I am telling you to go to God with it.
Face God first
If you face God with your decisions, He may lead you down roads you thought were not possible- like a bad marriage, wrong job choice, deciding too late to visit a sick friend. All of these and more are in God's understanding for you. His Grace is all we have in this world and when we are asking Him in humbleness for the answers, He will know it and show you either by scripture in the Bible or put someone in front of you that can tell you things you need to hear. If you make quick decsions about your life, you never gave anything a chance to heal or flurish. Everyday you are deciding which direction you will go, but today you can make a decision to stay where you are and pray to God- he'll answer all prayers in a timely manner. If you are ashamed of what you have done and want to run, hold steady as you wait to see how He will work it out and be amazed as how he does this, remember if you have sinned ask him for forgiveness, He will forgive you because he died to cover your sins.. by the way, you can confess directly to Him, you don't need a Priests confessional for that!
