Let's talk about the PING G10 Fairway Wood. I have to say, most People like it, so do I. I've never been a fan of Ping fairway woods and expected it to be the same with the G10. Surprise! surprise! All I can say is it felt really really solid. The FW set up nice and contact was dead center on the face every hit. Distance in the simulator was just a little longer than I'm getting with my Sonartec outdoors (It is a simulator though so this is subjective).

Firstly, The Ping G10 Fairway Woods are engineered with a crown that directly intersects the sole to create a low profile head that combines with a long, shallow face for improved performance from all types of lies.

The intersection of the crown and sole results in a skirt-less design which allowed Ping engineers to reposition discretionary weight from the crown, face and hosel for a lower CG (center of gravity) location. An internal weight pad creates the low CG location and provides higher ball velocity and reduced spin.

Secondly, it has somefeatures:(such as: 1. Crown intersects sole for low profile 2. Shallow, longer face for increased hitting area 3. Large, internal weight pad lowers CG for optimal launch 4. Lower lead edge 5. Ping TFC 129F shaft)

Now, it is very popullar. One user said to me, " I have bought 3 3 woods in the last year before this ping and each one had gone on ebay. Nothing has performed like this. For me its really transformed my long game!!! Obviously everyone has their own preference but I would recommend to anyone. I think the G10 series is a big improvement (woods wise) i play the driver and 3 wood. Will no doubt change my G5 hybrid based on the driver and 3 wood performance. Use the S58 irons so cant comment on the G10 irons."
