I can tell you as a male author of this article; it isn't exactly easy to write this article. We as a male species like to think of ourselves as pretty simple kinds of characters. It turns out you women can have just a difficult time understanding us as we do you. We speak two completely different languages.
My newlywed wife and I went through some interesting and some may say rough times together. She mentioned to me after we had gotten back together how she had read some material that had helped her understand why I wouldn't necessarily call her right away after every date to set-up another one. We grew apart after several months, and to be honest I didn't know if I would ever really want to go out or be serious with her.
Then something seemed to change in her, and I was definitely interested again. We grew closer together then we had ever been, and I just seemed to understand her better and she understood me. We had that magical "click" occur that everyone should get the chance to experience at some point in their life.
I didn't think a whole lot of it until just recently, my wife and I were talking together about our relationship prior to our marriage. We were laughing over how we didn't understand each other very well at the beginning, and were trying to fathom how that could have even be possible. Our marriage has shown us exactly how perfect we are for each other.
