If you are truly serious about getting an athlete's autograph, then one of the best ways to do this would be at the stadium. But exactly how do you get autographs at a stadium? Well, in this article we are going to observe what one fan did successfully. For the sake of this article we are going to call him Mike. Let's follow along to see what Mike did to be successful at getting his favorite athletes autograph at the stadium.

The first thing mike did was get to the stadium as early as he could to avoid the rush of other fans.

How To Get Autographs At A Stadium

Mike knew that if he had any hope of getting his favorite athletes autograph at a stadium he needed to get there before everybody else did. He knew that by doing this he would increase his chances of catching his favorite player coming out of the locker rooms or going into the locker rooms. During this time he knew he would have a good chance. He was also hoping for a team win so that the players might be in a better mood if he were to catch them after the game.

Another tactic that Mike used was to hang out at the stadium long after the game was over while the other fans were leaving.

You see Mike was very serious about getting his favorite players autograph, he was in no rush to leave the game like everyone else was. Mike stayed after the game where he knew some players would be more than willing to come out and sign autographs. Now maybe he may not get the particular athletes autograph he wanted, but he would get plenty of others. He also did not get discouraged because he knew that if he kept following this strategy he would eventually get his favorite players autograph at the stadium regardless.

One of the last things that Mike did was to find the players parking lot, unlike hanging out tailgating like everyone else.

Mike had absolutely no interest in tailgating and drinking alcohol in the fans parking lot like everyone else. Mike decided to scope out where the players' parking lot was and then he hung out waiting for the players to exit. He knew he couldn't hang out there acting suspicious otherwise he might be asked to leave. So he simply hung out near it after the game hoping to catch players leaving. Seeing as how the parking lot is usually backed up after a game he knew he would get his chance at several autographs.

If you hope to be successful at getting an autograph at a stadium I would advise you to follow some of the strategies that Mike used. He was successful at not only getting his favorite player's autograph, but also many other autographs of players on a given team. You can experience the success, and you can build a collection of autographs you can enjoy for years to come.
