I've said it before and I'll say it again. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Avoid The Hype

To cut through the hype and find out if an offer is a legitimate online business opportunity you need to run it through your scam-o-meter. Check to see if it passes these checks:

Does the offer come with a free trial?

Is there a way to contact the guy making the offer to ask questions?

Google the program name to see if you can get more reliable info.

Read through the program details to see if it makes sense.

Does the program have an organized forum or blog where you can see what other people are talking about related to the product?

Your best bet is to start off with a good basic beginner program that offers a wide range of tools, tutorials and support. This way you will get a well-rounded education and once you have a good start, you can branch out to more experimental exotic online business methods. You will be armed with the knowledge to run it through your scam-o-meter and decide if it's all hype or not.
