We never get to see the next stage boy gets fed up with scatter cushions breeding in the lounge and toiletries on every possible level space in the bathroom and girl becomes very tired of boy guffing in bed and constantly scratching his nether region.
So how to be a good wife and keep the relationship fresh!
Assuming you still want to keep your man and improve your marriage. There are things you can do to keep your marriage fresh and prevent it deteriorating. You must accept your man for what he is, don't try and change him after all did you fall in love with him or what he might become? If you fell in love with him as he was why try and change him? If you can't accept him the way he is then you have made a mistake and you will never be happy. Too many people get together with someone they think will change for the better when married. After the honeymoon period we all return to what we are most comfortable being ourselves!
If you don't accept him for what he is, you will stop being his lover and turn into his nagging wife. Men like their own space just as much as women do and so when he is out with his mates or playing golf, don't keep texting him leave him to enjoy his time'. Spend time with your friends or family while he is busy and keep a little freedom alive. You will appreciate one another's company a whole lot more if you have had some time apart.
Remember to have conversations with your man and don't just bombard him with things you wish he would do better. Most men are not interested in soap operas or celebrity gossip. The fascination women have for a soap opera is as much a mystery to men as potpourri and its place in the world.
Let your man talk. Some women forget that we have two ears and one mouth for a reason. Think about it! What do girls that try and steal peoples husbands do? They are experts at getting a man's attention. They listen to his stories and thoughts; they laugh at his jokes and show affection to him for no real reason. He can ignore them and just get on with his job or what ever he is doing but they will still be there waiting in the wings to tell him how wonderful and intelligent he is.
Don't expect him to love the people you love. As long as he is civil to your friends and relations, that's all you need to happen. After all you don't want him to like your friends too much. The women's magazines are littered with stories of, boy meets girl, boy and girl get married, boys meets girls friends, boy does the dirty with girls best friend! Civility is good.
For goodness sake don't play mind games or drop hints. Men just don't get it and you are wasting your time. Be honest in all you do and even though all men are just big little boys' treat your man like an adult and act like an adult yourself. Only an adult relationship will stand the test of time.
