Most of the wildlife enthusiasts visit Assam's Manas National Park to view the wealth and of animals. It is the only region in the world where pristine Terai grasslands and is seen merging with the Bhabar grasslands and also ascend all the way to semi evergreen forests then to Bhutan Himalayas. The rich biodiversity and the scenic beauty of Manas has accorded its status as World Heritage Sites in 1985. in 1989, it was included included as the Biosphere Reserve under UNESCO's man and Biosphere Program.

Flora of the Park:

The ground of the wood is very moist and is deciduous with the swamps. These wetlands are the major sights for the survival of the endangered hispid hare. The vegetation ranges from Khairsissoo-bhabhar grass community to semi evergreens. There ate intermediate stages of succession- deciduous forests swampy land and also the Sal forest. The trees like simul, Khoir, udal, sida, bohera and kanchan.

Fauna of the National Park:

If you want to see the fauna of Manas National Park then the list goes on. It is the shelter of many endangered species as many of the 55 species of mammals in addition to 50 reptiles with the surprising 380 species of birds and also includes 3 species of amphibians. The key attraction of the park are tigers, elephants, rhinoceros and wild buffaloes. The list of fauna does not ends up here, it also includes leopards, pigmy hog, red pandas, swamp deer, capped langurs, hoolock gibbons, sambar, roofed turtle, Hispid Hare and golden langur. Bengal Florican. Frequently seen birds are ungle Fowls, bulbuls, Brahminy Ducks, Gray hornbills.
