Don't go for shopping, except take all necessary things along with you on the beach. You don't have to spend extra money for those things that you have got in home. So bring all that stuff with you on the beach that can be used or you will need to use. In this way you will not have to spend extra amount on those things that you have already got in your car.
Educate your family members to not to get scattered around in stead stay close to each other and help each other if any thing is required.
