What About Nike CCI Iron Set?

Well, The Nike CCI iron could be the most underrated iron on the market. After three weeks of testing irons at area golf shops, I was about ready to give up on new irons and throw my old lynx parallaxes back in the bag. I'd never really given Nike a chance. Like so many others, I wondered how the hell a shoemaker could make a decent golf club. You don't see Foot-Joy entering the fray. A club-seller convinced me to give them a try. Stewart Cink and KJ Choi both use them, he said. I hit a few balls into a driving net, largely enjoyed the experience, and then took a demo set to the range.

The first shot gave me a huge smile. Hit a 7-iron about 168. It wasn't the distance I enjoyed so much, but the flight, that same penetrating flight the Tour guys seem to get so effortlessly. Then I tried working them. High, low, left to right, right to left. So easy. During a later round, a felt like I shanked a couple, but they didn't go that far off target. I'm convinced you can't get an iron that better combines workability and forgiveness for three times the money. The best value in golf.

I really liked the Nike CCi irons, they are so long and straight. I really love these irons. The Nike CCI Iron Set 3-PW with Steel Shafts feature Composite Cavity Insert Technology that enhances forgiveness and feel as well as Forged 1025 Carbon Steel Construction.

1. Accomplished-player-preferred thin topline, minimal offset, and high level of workability

2. CNC milled faces ensure uniform ball compression for predictable distances and shot paterns

3. Dynamic Gold Steel shafts by True Temper

4. Nike Tour Velvet grips by Golf Pride

The Nike cci Irons are very forgiving and easy to hit. For the price thay were a decent buy, i boughtthem. These irons are of no use to me, they are heavy and very offset, the dynalite shafts that come with it in a stiff flex are not stiff enough and I am not able to shape shots, the trajectory is to high, when playing in the wind it is very difficult to keep the ball low. The guy before who wrote the review and said that he got his custum fitted must not have known what he was talking about, sure he can lengthen the shaft, but due to the fact that the iron is a cast custom fitting them is a joke because you can only bend them a degree at most and they also bend back into place so if you fit them within a month they are back to the normal standard cci.

All in all, if you are a mid to high handicapper who is looking to improve their game, then these are great clubs for you, if you are a lower scoring golfer, try a tour preffered set or a proggressive blade set.
