If a quiet evening is something you seek, then make a reservation at one of D.C.'s low-key, yet delectable restaurants. Enjoy delicious food with family or friends and countdown to 2011 in a relaxed environment with some bubbly champagne.
If you prefer a more upbeat night, head out to one of the many hot clubs and lounges in the city and count down the seconds to New Years DC on the dance floor while losing yourself to a DJs loop. D.C. also has plenty of live music, comfortable lounges with beautiful dcor, and even parties in some of the most spectacular museums. December 31st, 2010 falls on a Friday so why not spend the first few days of dc new year's taking it easy, seeing some sights and perhaps hang out with the friends you made the night before.
