Introduction

Medical diet for 14 days - Scarsdale, created by an American cardiologist in the late 70s, continues to attract many followers, because of its quick effects. It is a low calorie diet - energy intake of approximately 1000 kcal.

Scarsdale Diet is of "low carb" - based on limiting the contributions of carbohydrates. The daily menu includes three types of foods: vegetables, fruit and meat (no fat).
