On Saturday, July 17, 2010 the National Women of Colors Cancer Foundation (NWCCF) in association with Gibson's Auto Tech in Pleasant Run will be hosting the "Soap it up & Eat for the Cause of Cancer Car Wash & Cookout"

The car wash and cookout is a fundraiser for the NWCCF which their purpose and mission is to enhance the quality of life for cancer survivors and caregivers by stimulating moments of happiness in their lives. Fundraising allows the group to conduct outreach services such as seminars, gift baskets, special outings, thinking of you cards, and provide hardship/moral support.

Founder & CEO Deborah Green-Boone with others members are always seeking ways to build awareness for the cause of cancer. NWCCF is celebrating their 10 year anniversary.

Quote: "We are very excited about this event and you have something to give that is of more value than money, it's your time, your advice, your contacts, and any other donations you feel appropriate to support our cause."

Donations will be accepted for car washes while snacks will be available for purchase starting at the price of .50 & up

Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Volunteer Coordinators Tiara at 513-324-6439 (after 5pm) or Jenior at 961-1485. For more information about the National Women of Colors Cancer Foundation, visit their websitehttp://www.freewebs.com/nwccf
