The Poker Mastermind Ebook Review

I remember when I first became interested in playing poker. My dad and uncles played every weekend, and my friends a few years older than me played regularly. I started playing as much as I could with them. I would learn as I go, so very slowly I started getting better. I was never great - some nights I'd leave a few dollars richer, some nights poorer. When I went to college, friends moved away, and over time I had stopped playing all together. Then the online poker boom happened. It seemed that just overnight, poker was again the hottest game to play.

Like many others, I began to play online. It always seemed to end the same way: I'd deposit $50 or $100 when I could spare, and usually after a day or two I had lost that money. That was my fault. Playing online poker isn't like playing at your buddies house on a Saturday night. Online poker is big money - you can lose all you have very fast. Then again, you can win big too.

I had begun to hear about guys at home winning big at online poker - $50,000, $500,000.. some guys had won $1,000,000 at their computer! I wanted to be next on that money train. I begin to buy the "poker robots" and automated "poker machines". These never worked. I would only walk away with a few pennies earned each day. A robot or program cannot win big for you, that only comes from tried-and-true systems and strategies. Poker is a game of luck, but the other slice of the poker pie is definitely skill.

I looked for poker help the same place I play it - online. It is easy to be overwhelmed.. there are plenty of Ebooks offering you 100 different ways to cover your face, another 100 on how bluff.

After some wasted money and wasted time, I stumbled upon a course called The Poker Mastermind. I initially liked it because it offered no gimmicks, no fluff, just pure strategy and tactics.

When I finally read the guide, I was pleasantly surprised. Coming away from the guide, I approach poker completely differently now. The information I learned was 100% new to me, and it made more sense than anything I had been taught before. Things made sense!

I am not the creator of the guide. I won't claim that I make $40,000 per month playing poker online, but I can definitely sit at a table win hands. I'd recommend it for beginners and veterans alike.
