So when you hear your carpet cleaning company say chemicals, don't freak out. Cleaning chemicals are just agents that are used to eliminate dirt. Now, there are green certified chemicals. These chemicals are safe for your pets and infants. Some chemicals can affect your respiratory health.
You must make sure that your cleaning company does a thorough job of rinsing out the cleaning chemicals. Otherwise, if they stay in your carpet, they will just attract more dirt. After all, that is what they are designed to do, isn't it? Your carpets will be dirtier than before.
