Chery Cole Releases new album - Messy Little Raindrops

Chery Cole has released her second solo album which is a collection of easy on the ear pop songs and while not offering anything ground-breaking, it is a well-worked set of tracks that will appeal to the mainstream masses.

The songs on the album are:

Promise This

Yeah Yeah (feat. Travie McCoy)

Live Tonight

The Flood

Amnesia

Everyone (feat. Dizzee Rascal)

Raindrops

Hummingbird

Better to Lie (feat. August Rigo)

Let's Get Down

Happy Tears

Waiting

Cheryl seems to have timed this release to perfection, seeing as it comes just a few weeks before her Girls aloud bandmate Nadine Coyle delivers her debut album to the World.

The song titles are somewhat simplistic -Hummingbird, Raindrops, Happy Tears and so on, but it is also fair to say that under this soft exterior their is a deeper emotion, brought about by the traumatic year Cheryl has endured.

Although being plucked from obscurity by a TV music contest, Cheryl has proved she has got what it takes to be a "star" with two decent albums, TV work and high-profile social life.

There is nothing remarkable about Cheryl Coles voice, but she does have that certain something about her, and this is obviously fuelled by her high profile TV and personal life.

This album also sees Dizzee Rascal and Will.I.Am feature on a coulpe of the tracks and all in all the album has a feel good factor that is sure to be a big hit, especially in the UK.

Messy Little Raindrops is a competent, if unspectacular second offering from the pop princess .
