If you happen to be playing your Xbox 360 and you happen to see the infamous Xbox 3 red lights hit up; make sure that you are turning it off if you don't want it to crash down. At first I really thought that it was all talk. If it was true, who would buy an Xbox 360 right? Well what I thought was wrong. By far, as a gamer, this was the worst mistake I ever committed. So for you guys who are about to buy an Xbox 360, keep in mind that the red ring of death is very true.
So I actually experienced the problem while playing Halo. At first I was part of the skeptics. I thought to myself, who in the right mind would design a $200 console with a glitch such as the red ring of death. And by the way, what a cheesy name for a glitch! So because of the name and I was stupid enough; I didn't believe the hype. To my surprise it was all true. The game I was playing was so enjoying that I didn't mind the three red lights hitting the warning in my face. So the next time I looked, Xbox 360 just shut down and it doesn't want to be turned on.
So I went to the Microsoft and asked for their assistance. But what they offered me shocked me, literally. They quoted me of $150 to be safe. It will cover for both the shipping and the expenses for the repair. So, this is just plain crazy. You charged me $200 for a console bound to the trash bin once the three lights hit and you are actually expecting me to go for your repair for a $150 value. So, I was desperate, it's either I rob a bank to have the money or I ask from my parents. But since I'm the type of the guy who would rather rob a bank; I actually asked my friend what's his take on the Xbox 360. Being a gamer that he is, he knows his stuff. So after a few minutes of conversation with him, he led me to this site that offers salvation for all the Xbox 360 units brought down by the red ring of death. It actually offered 40 minutes worth of instruction on how to fix an Xbox 360 with the use of a screw driver.
It sounded crazy. But this time, I am trying to believe the crazy stuff since, who would've known that there is such a cheesy named glitch called red ring of death? So after doing the repair, it's actually been 5 months now since I nailed it. The repair they taught me was really working well. And now, I don't have to worry for my Xbox 360
