Some Ideas for Elementary Student Memory Book

Most of elementary students love making memory book for their future. They like to fill their memory books with details of the school years. For this case, a memory book commonly evokes the aura of the playground, school day, the teachers, the friendships, and the lessons. To enhance the book, they like to add the combination of drawings, photographs, interesting graphics, and descriptive words.

Preparation

You can help your students make less expensive memory book by your own. You can get more ideas about it online. Help them prepare their personal books. As an idea, you can ask your students to buy a large binder. Make dividers so that the students can have a section for every year. Then, ask them to decorate binder and divider by drawing on it or sticking sticker on it.

Month-by-Month Pages

Ask your students to make a special page, month-by-month page. Tell them to use this page as the reflection of several happening at the school for that month. For the example, April page is used for statistics and snapshots of the school calendar and December may include their photos of Christmas vacation.

Classroom Pages

Another recommended page is classroom pages. It can include each subject they have learned. For the social class, you can hand out the USA map and ask them to fill in the blank about the capital of the states and then stick it on to the memory book. In addition, for the PE teacher, she should print out a copy of volleyball rules. With this page, the book will reflect all activities in the classroom.

Activity Pages

Also, you can create activity pages. These pages are for all activities and events held in your school such as drama productions, clubs, sports, band concert, holiday program, book fairs, and some other possible activities. You can help the students to illustrate the events. To decorate it, they can add pictures and graphics.
