It is the coolest webcam i have reviewed for the xbox 360 yet. The kinect uses a special camera that pictures you in a three dimensional form so you appear as the character or object in the game your playing. So whenver you move, the character or object moves. Isn't that cool!
It's just like moving when your using the wii, only the wii remote can now disappear! And much more can be done with simple gestures, and sounds. Like flicking your wrist can navigate you through the xbox 360 dashboard from right or left. And saying a few words like voice commands and any task can be accomplished.
Let me review the reasons why this would be the best fit for you.
First, it turns your xbox 360 into a robot. Simple as that. No more thumbaches from clunky controllers. Just speak and use gestures.
Secondly, you become apart of the game. If you have to punch a rival in the face, simply punch and they will get punched! If you have to swim to get to the other side of the river, move your arms around as if you were swimming in air and there you go on the other side.
Last but not least, the kinect gives your xbox 360 endless entertainment for friends and family. Enjoy competing with up to six people at one time! How amusing would it be to watch a group of people moving around in your living room playing against each other. It would be entertaining just to watch.
