You never seriously considered postage scales? Are you a small business person who sells products on the Internet? Maybe you have a brick-and-mortar business from which you ship all over the country, maybe internationally? Do you lug mail and packages to the post office every day, letting them figure out what the postage is (sometimes standing in line for 5 to 10 minutes?), or do you add postage yourself "guessing" as best you can what it might be? Just one more question...
Do you want to save a lot of time and money; both better spent on other important parts of your growing business?
Perhaps you already have a postage machine, because it saves you much time in stamping your mailings and packages. If not, some of the same reasoning applies, though we will stick with postage scales in this article.
First, imagine not having to make daily trips to the post office, standing in line etc. Instead of the drive, the traffic and all the rest, you could be enjoying a cup of coffee while easily weighing your mail yourself on a digital postal scale. In a way postage scales are kind of like a cool little toy; you might actually find it fun!
If you've been stamping your mailings yourself, how many times have you overpaid for postage because you didn't want the package returned because it was a few cents under? That won't happen with one of the many available models of postage scales currently available. You will know exactly how much postage to put on... which of course would be similarly simplified with a postage meter. They certainly work very productively hand-in-hand.
I mentioned digital postage scales, but it doesn't have to be digital, it could be a manual model. They're spring operated and rather accurate, and require no electricity. There is the possibility of user error though, which is virtually impossible with a digital postal scale. The reason for that is the digital postal scale is exact, whereas the manual postal scale relies on viewing a needle nose scale, which could fall in between weights. Though you would still be far better off with even a manual postal scale; and you could always upgrade to a digital model later.
Regardless of whether it's digital or manual, postal scales, in most circumstances concerning mailings that require numerous stampings and daily trips to the post office, you'll probably save noticeable or significant money and time. Some postage scales also have features such as, being able to directly print the postage on the envelope, and will print postage labels to be applied to packages.
Certainly, further investigation of postage scales would be well worth a little more of your time... and it is all right here, right on your screen.
