Stephen says 'Fry Fry' to Twitter

It appears Stephen Fry has said bye bye toTwitter "amid controversy surrounding his interview with Attitude magazine."He is one of the most popular celebritieson the social networking site and wasclose to reaching 2 million followers.

This is big news for the Twitter world. Fry is as big as they come. "It is believed he was misquoted by the Observer which was itself reprinting an interview he gave to Attitude magazine."

This just goes to show how powerful social media can be. With a simple "tweet" Fry has expressed his opinion to millions of people. Not everyone will be in a position to inform millions of people with the touch of a button. However everyone has the ability to express their opinions or share their latest news in exactly the same way.

The numbers might be less compared to Fry but your message can be just as effective. Social Media works! More then ever companies are using it to enhance their position online. Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin are all commonly used in the workplace.

This is not the first time Fry has said "bye bye" to Twitter, he did it before in 2009.

Social media is a very powerful tool when used in the right way. Make sure your saying hello to social media not bye bye!
