If you happen to have bought your Xbox 360 from the past years, then this might sound familiar to you. They told me that I should give them $110 for the repair plus the shipping cost for them to fix my Xbox 360. Well, actually they gave me no guarantee whether they could actually fix it or not. So I asked them if there is any way I could repair my Xbox on my own. They answered me with an emphatic "no". This is the sad thing that Microsoft is doing to us. They are giving us a console that is actually $200 but in a few months time, it's heading down the drain. So I was actually left with no choice but to go with Microsoft.
They gave my unit around 4 weeks after I sent them. To my surprise it was actually working. So I called my friends in and we played Fight Night. But after a few rounds, the red ring of death is back. And now, it is pissing me off. So I decided not to take notice of it and it literally destroyed my Xbox 360. Then my friend was laughing when he saw my Xbox 360. He told me to open my PC and connect to the internet. He then showed me this instructional video telling me how to fix an Xbox 360. And since I am considering the Xbox as junk after the second breakdown; I gave it a shot. After 40 minutes of actually following the instruction step by step, I was happy that it worked. Now, 5 months since we did the do-it-yourself fix on my Xbox 360; I had no problem whatsoever with the Xbox 360. If you want a cheap solution, go to the internet and take my word for it. Many gamers have already tried it, it could also help if you become one of us.
