Gays and lesbians become a special group in society. As human beings, they are also longing for the same rights with other people. But the question is that should it be legal for them to be married? This is a question.
Tracing back to the history of gay, it firstly referred to the men and women who wear bright-colored clothes. Even in nowadays, people tend to think those men who wear pink as gay or at least gay-potential. The Federal Constitution has not yet made the decision. The mass can only voice their opinions toward it. Considering the following two reasons, you may have a second thought on this issue.
The first one is that if you have friends or even family members being gay, will you support them to be married or be single? People wish to see everyone we care be happy. How does this come if he or she is gay but you suggest the person not to marry the one who he or she loves? They do not affect your life or cause you any trouble. Will you back up them or will you desert them?
The second one relies on how you hold the opinion towards human beings' basic rights. It is not wrong for them to live someone who is homosexual. The question is that the major society has not been so tolerant now to allow them to build a family. But in a long run, will they be fulfilled? Will they marry the homosexual lover on their own? How do you think the women's liberation movement several years ago and how do you think of it now? The society is moving on all the time and everything thus becomes uncertain.
In a word, it is still up in the air. Everybody has his own view about it. But for your information, if you object it, you may not choose the bight color like those cases on especially when you are a man. So you will not be the case of being gay.
